Open Mine Field
Setting up the XD-T100 outdoor base station in the roof top of the field office, that cover few ten kilometers area space of differential data send to the XD terminals. XD-R3004G terminal is installed in every dump truck, excavator and shovel. The StarSpotter platform is setup in the site office, even in the remote-control center, that could get all information through the internet.
In the control center, the distribution of the dump trucks, and the exactly location of the excavators and shovels on field are reflected on screen of the StarSpotter platform, and the movement of each dump truck will be displayed real-timely. With the RTK positioning technology, that provide the high precise positioning, every dump truck position is marked in less than a meter difference with the real environment. Which dump truck approaches to which excavator is known and the weight of the mine on the dump truck can be sensed, all information will get back to control center. From the StarSpotter platform, that can also define an electronic fence near the edge of the slop all over the pit field, when the dump truck is too close to the fence, alert will be generated in the control center, the safety of the pit field is improved.
